Does your paint chip as easily as mine?

washing my car today I noticed two more on the front fender, probably caught a pebble from a semi or something. that makes 3 total on the driver side. 2 up front one under the rear quarter window. at about 6,500 miles right now.

Yes the paint on Mustang is horrible.
The clearcoat is so soft you can scratch it by nail or even by hard rubbing during detailing or simple washing with a sponge. Every month after general washing I am making paint ‘inspection’. On each stone ships I am putting immediately small spot of paint, in the color of car of course. I do that with very small brush and just touch the chip. That’s mainly to avoid further paint layer oxidation and such paint job is totally not visible unless you are looking on car with glass magnifier.
