Dead Battery Problem Solved
My car isn't my daily driver, sits all week and fires right over on the weekend with no problems. I don't lock it with the remote in the garage so that the alarm won't drain it down. It can sit for many weeks during the winter and not drain down as well.
Mine is the same way but it sometimes sits for a few weeks at a time without being driven and like I said I finally became a victim of this issue a couple weeks ago. I charged the battery and then drove the car for a couple hours and have not had the issue again. However i think i am most likley going to upgrade to the 850CCA battery
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh Battery dead again... I'm really getting pi$$ed...
My original M-craft battery was fried after 2 years. Then I bought a replacement from Varta. It worked great until today.
I had my Stang 2 weeks parked in my garage and when I tried it today... DEAD...
I am charging the bat. now and see if it works after.

The upgrade to a Group 65 (what you're referring to as a 850 CCA) will not solve your problem, it will just last a tiny bit longer. I suspect there is a faulty relay somewhere or the SJB is defective, allowing the Shaker amps to continue drawing current after the key is removed.
Replace the SJB?
I'm not sure what is wrong with the car's electrical system. It could either be the Shaker 500, SJB, Active Anti-Theft or a combination of all 3. However, the stock battery should far outlast 30 days without being charged and with the alarm activated.
After, I put her in my garage and did not lock her. So lets see tomorrow if I can crank her up.

I have been experiencing the same problem since last December. I have a second car that became my daily driver and left the 05 GT at a relative’s house for a few weeks. When I went to pick it up, dead battery. I thought I may have left my interior light on and as it was a couple of months I decided to purchase a new battery. I then left the car at another relative while I made renovations to my driveway and when I went to pick it up again, dead battery. I used my jump-pack and she turned right over. I started driving the car on a daily basis with no problem but if I miss 2 or 3 days, bring out the jump-pack which is now stationed in my car.
I had the car to Ford and they put a meter on the battery but found no unusual drain. I do not have the shaker. I have tried turning off the stereo (custom unit) and not locking the doors to no avail though the later seemed to work at first.
It seems the only solution is to drive the car everyday as she’s a jealous mistress.
