Question Clutch Squeaks

My 05 GT is 3 years old with one trip to the dealer and out of warranty, only 17,000 miles.

When depressing the clutch it tends to squeak, anyone else have this or seen a post, I don't recall anyone having this issue... I'm going to try some lube on the pedel under the dash.

Mine usually squeaks in the summer under very humid conditions. Never taken it in though as I've had more important issue with the car to deal with. I do remember reading a while back someone having their clutch cylinder changed for the same reason.

Sounds like your throw out bearing, not the clutch itself. Unfortunate, because it is just about as big a job as changing the clutch to replace the bearing.

After reading your post again, are you talking the clutch pedal? If so, grease should do it.

The pedal and I am going to lube it first.

I actually noticed mine doing this yesterday. I put the cats back in and the exhaust is way quieter now, so maybe it was there for some time, just never heard it?

My squeak is starting to get quite loud. Sprayed WD-40 in several places, but it made no difference. Can't quite tell where it's coming from, but it makes noise as soon as the pedal moves.
