Check Engine Light DTC P0456

Hi all, Today my car popped on its CE light. I connected my SCT2 and got code P0456. I googled this and it says EVAP leak. Has anyone had this occur and fixed it?

I found a TSB 07-3-9 that says something along the lines of "caused by an oversized orifice in the fuel pump"... whcih means squat to me.

Any tips? Im at 35 months/55K miles so I dont think I can get TSB work under warranty.

Try loosening the gas cap, then re-tighten the cap...clear the code and see if it comes back.

I had the same code one time on my '06 GT. Opened and closed the gas cap, had the code cleared, and never got it again.

I had this code numerous times before I got the fuel pump changed. Its never came back since getting that TSB done.

I've had this code pop up twice

I'll check the TSB database for this one. However, with my car being out of warranty despite having only 22,300 miles, I may be SOL.
