I have had the "Check Charging System" warning for about a year now on my 2005 GT. I have replaced the battery and had the alternator tested 3-4 times, with the latest being a week ago (along with a battery load test). The problem is, everything always checks out fine.

For once I would like something to completely fail, just so I know wtf is going on

Any ideas?

 

Have you checked if you have any codes. It's possible you may have the dtc code cleared like the engine light check.

 

I was under the assumption that 'Check Charging System' stored no codes...
