Light came on as well as the battery symbol. I just replaced the alternator last summer & battery as well.. Any ideas?
It just came on today for about 3-4 mins then turned off. I'll check the battery cables in the morning to make sure there's no corrosion or loose cables.

 

This happened to me, it ended up being a loose connection. I do not remember what connection but it was a simple fix at my uncles shop.

 

after you check for loose connections take it to autozone and have them test the charging system for you. Its a free servicce.
