Your post didn't bother me at all. Lots of people say "Freon", we all know what that means.
Ammonium Nitrate?

i didnt mean nitrate I meant something else. Theres an ammonium compound that is used to cool comercial buildings and stuff. Such as ice rinks and I heard from a mechanic they usee it in cars.

The pressure was low and they ran a vacumm test but couldn't find a leak. Shot some dye into the system and told me to bring it back if the problem comes back. Works fine now - putting out 39 degrees of cool.

how long it took, did you have to leave the car overnight? I won't leave my car with them overnight.

What you need to do is call the dealer and talk to the service advisor about the problems you're having.
I have to admit that TMS is a great place but when it comes to problems with the car the only way to get it fixed is take it in for repairs.

You don't want to leave your car overnight at the dealer? Then call the dealer and tell them you want to bring the car in and WAIT for them to finish the car which can take several hours (or tell them you will drop the car off in the morning and pick it up later in the day.

I personally schedule my dealer visits to my days off so I can wait for the car (one time I got there around 7:30AM and left about 5:00PM when the repairs were complete).

In the close to 2.5 years I've had the car it has been left at the dealer once overnight due to a bad battery (battery was dead when I got off work and the only service depaartment that was still open took the car but couldn't look at it until the next day).

Back to your situation-
Your ONLY options are to schedule an appointment and bring the car in and wait for them to diagnose/repair the problem or leave it for the day and pick it up before they close even if the repairs are not complete.

Remember low on freon means their's a leak thats what the dye is for make sure you have them docement that so if your car goes out of warentee you can still have it fixed under warentee???!!! Average a/c repair $500.00to $1000.00.

I used freon because its universal for the a/c coolant.tried not to confuse anyone? If your not sure and you have a freind who a tech or you live in the Seminole ,FL area ask him to help .remember a/c is a closed system so if it low it has a leak!!!If you live in the seminole area p/m me and I will help you.
My compressor is not moving when the A/C is on. So looks like the issue is the compressor, I checked the A/C clutch fuses are OK. I guess I have to take the car in to see what's wrong with the compressor

There's probably nothing wrong with your compressor. If your r134a is low from a leak the pressure cycling switch will not allow the compressor clutch to engage. That protects the compressor from internal damage. It could also be a defective cycling switch. If your cars under warranty take it to the dealer. It's an expensive and somewhat dangerous system to be messing with if you don't know what your doing. Something else to think about, but not trying to scare you, if you have a major leak somewhere and don't repair it there's a chance moisture can enter the system and corrode parts internally over a long time.

I called the dealer, they also said that if the refregerant is low, the clutch won't engage. I am taking it in on Monday.

took the care in yesterday, they gave it back to me in a couple of hours, they said some kind of C130 connector was loose and the compressor wasn't starting. Have no idea what's this connector.

C130 is the connector to the A/C clutch cycling pressure switch.

2 wire connector is attached to a/c pressure cycling switch on the a/c tube left side of engine, near firewall, over trans bellhousing. Wire colors are dark blue with yellow stripe and violet with orange stripe.

Chances are low on getting a response, since these posts date from 2007.

You don't have to take it to the dealer if it isn't in warranty. you can get it checked out at a shop you prefer. Tell them to diagnose only, then provide a repair estimate.

If you also have an icky smell in the passenger compartment, that could be the evaporator core. That is an expensive repair, because they have to pull the entire dashboard out to replace it. A lot of labor. I've been there. Hopefully that is not the case with yours.

go to safecar.gov and file a complaint, once they have enough they will investigate to see about doing a forced recall, just did it myself. There are thousands upon thousands of mustang owners with same prob. Other issues that come with AC not working, when you go to use you defogger, it will fog up your windshield with a film. Does not help if it is raining hard and you have to open your window all the way to see out. Serious safety issue. Anyone with AC problem go to safecar.gov even if you already had it fixed, if they approve a recall they will have to reimburse you.
