airbag light flashes and then wont shut off
today i went to take the mustang out for the first time in about a week (weather has been really cr@ppy here and shes a garage queen) and the airbag light started to flash and then went solid and would not shut off at all. i re-loaded my 93tune, still didnt fix the problem. i tuned it back to stock, didnt fix it and then i put the 93 tune back on and that didnt fix it either. the car isnt throwing any codes but that light just wont go away.
i looked the owners manual and it says to immediately bring the vehicle back to the dealer if this happens.
now, i have a cruise to go on sunday and im not missing this for ANYTHING! can i drive the car with this light on? is there a chance of the airbag just deploying out of nowhere? i have no idea what to do but if i can avoid going to the dealer until AFTER the cruise, that would be clutch
here is the light i am talking about:

I had the same problem with mine. I drove it for two weeks before I finally got it to the dealer. I wouldnt worry about it, I dont think it will deploy on its own, it just wont work when you need it. In my case, it ended up being a pinched wire near the connector in the passenger seat for the side airbag.
When the airbag light is flashing or on steady, it indicates a problem with the system, and also the module will not deploy the airbags at all if involved in a collision, it completely disables itself until repaired.
