Leaving an awesome Mustang car show yesterday, my '07 V6 dash "Airbag Malfunction" Light flickered and stayed on. It has stayed on pretty consistently since then. Obviously, the car is out of warranty. I had this issue months after getting the car new back in the summer of '07. After several weeks of trial and error repairs that summer, they got it fixed. But, five years later, it's on again....What should I do? Take it to the dealer or another shop?

 

OK well luckily the light has gone off. This is after I went to the Ford Dealer and they tell me I'll have to pay them a diagnostic fee to look at it. I tell them, heck no and...Knock on wood it's stayin' off!
