Hi guys, sorry to bother you, but I am about to send the car for a check up for a few reasons, but I wanted to know if some of you had the same issue.

Since I purchased the car, I have that stupid annoying whine on the rear end, the guy at service told me to take it but it would take him a whole week to fix it, and I could not have the time and money to pay a rental to take it yet.
now, after 4k miles, randomly the abs and traction control lights go on, and the traction control button lights up the OFF without me touching it.
I am concerned because I have to drive to miami sunday, and even if when I do the system check, it tells me the brake systems are fine, I am concerned.

what I felt was this when I break on uneven road, the brake kicks back up, and looses effect basically not braking properly.
I though that because the clutches on the rear end are too tight, maybe that messed up the ABS traction control system??? or I am totally wrong on my guess?

Anyways, I am ****ed my 2005 had no problems at all on the traction control ever.
other than that the car drives and handles fantastic.

the funny thing is that it turns those abs / tr. control lights on even when I am standing still on the light, or they turn off when I move again the car, or when I am driving on the road at any speed, it does not do it in any particular situation.
If any of you had similar situation, please post here, so I know better whats going on, and I don't let the service give me a run around and deprive me from my car for more than needed making me spend a lot of cash in a rental...

your abs sensors might need replacing. My 98 taurus had that problem, and still does. Except on mine it stills brakes normally, just the light flicks on and off on its own for abs, but no biggy here. You might be able to get a rental free from the dealership.
