Not sure when you got your CS, but about the time I picked mine up there was a lot of warranty issues changing, mostly adding time and miles. You may be right at the limit, but check with the dealer and see if you can get it replace under warranty. Nothing like a free battery no matter what brand.

Standard warranty is 3 years / 36K miles, so it's out of warranty at this point. I just had mine replaced under warranty because it was struggling to start after sitting in the garage for nearly two weeks due to the snow we got (I did run it for 15-20 min. every couple of days, though).

The Optima and Interstate batteries are highly recommended.

running it like you were probably didn't help the battery much. So is the warranty 3 yr 36 for everything and 5 yr 60k for the drive train??

+1 on the Sears ... I always use Sears when it's time to replace the OEM one , they have good batteries and a good warranty ...

You're right. I knew it was on its last leg, so I just wanted to make sure I could get it to the dealership (although the warranty includes free towing ).

Yes. On mine at least, and I'm pretty sure the current warranty is the same.
