it's all sematics, but I'm learning and I wanna be sure. Resto mod means "restored", but "modified" in a way that is not faithful to original period specs...ie, new rims and tires or non-period correct powerplant.
Eleanor may not have been a production car, but all non original Eleanors are reproductions because their intent is to faithfully "reproduce" the original, not to modify it which would make it a resto mod. Now if you had a Eleanor with a 4V DOHC then it would qualify as a resto-mod....right?

The Eleanor is a body kit made for Gone In 60 Seconds. So all Eleanors are kit cars. They are basically a 67-68 GT500 with body mods. You have the resto-mod part correct.
So the Eleanor could be a reproduction depending on how you look at it.
