Saturday night, just happened to have had someone in my car until I dropped them off at their house many, many miles from home. Car just died going down the road. Raining felines and howlers. The 12V connection for my MSD ignition was not good.

Going to work yesterday morning (yes, 16-degrees) and car just dies. The 12V switched connection for the Holley red decided to go belly up.

That sucks, hopefully you weren't out there too long. I just had to go pick up my friend because his 86 coupe died due to a grounding issue with the cylanoid. (don't know if I spelled it right)

 

Solenoid, but I knew what you were trying to say.

It sucked, but it is good that I knew what it was quick.

Cool thing is the first time a pretty lady came to my rescue. The second a neighbor stopped when he saw me pulled over.

cars are being a bit snippy with the weather... i had the skid plate fall down under my bumper goin down the road.. its all nice and scuffed up now. Its now plastered on with good ol duck tape!

 

Well my problems are apparantly about to beat all of y'alls. I think my clutch is about to give out

 

Did a field splice on the power cable for the pump. Stripped wires, wound them, threw tape on it, then a cable tie.
