Veteran's Day Parade was Great!!!!!
I had a wonderful time at the Veteran's Day parade. I got to meet some great Mustang Lovers and enthusiasts.
Eleanor made headlines again today! I don't think there was any damage. Thank God! I am sure the the nerves were a little racked there for a minute. I am glad that everybody was ok in that incident.

Hope the Eleanor owner will contact me so I can get my jack back.
I'd like to put on my rear coil overs tomorrow.
For video footage, complete with laughs from newscasters, check out video 1 around the 38:00 minute mark.

I spoke with Matthew and he said Eleanor will be fine. Gary, I gave them your phone number and they'll coordinate getting your jack to you. Thanks for your help!
In all, the parade went well.....both of them. When we caught up to the parade, the gap created a second (and much larger) parade. Oops. The sponsor and traffic control were to blame for that....not us. I've reviewed the footage, etc. and I don't think it adversely affected RCMC. Hey, problems happen and we move on. We might consider investing in a club set of wrenches, jack, lug wrench, and jump box for quick fixes. I also thought of several options/scenarios that would have kept their parade moving, but ultimately they should have contingencies in place.
The staging area incidents are being handled. 'nuff said. I'll do a complete write up with pics asap. My thanks to EVERYONE who participated. It was great seeing regular members mixing with several new ones. Good times!
Mustang Dave, thanks for the posts......just keep outa trouble....lol

No "assault" occurred. I'd like to not discuss the details on the open forum for everyone to see. We can talk offline, at the next meeting, etc. I spoke with the other group's director who said he'd handle it, and a letter has been written as well that suggests the situation could have been avoided if they better supervised the group and their escorts. All is well..... Did I mention the parade was great!

What.....will she come after us for slander???
Just kidding Mike, I'll ceast and disist.
Just to reiterate....there was nothing even close to "assault", just a woman who felt that nobody should tell her not to lean on their car, or use it as a writing tablet.

It is noticed that the wheel falls off.
From the clues above, seems pretty simple to guess what happened.
And slight talk posted on hsvracing...

So, last year, Mberglo does the burnout in the parade and nearly gets us banned. Then, at the Madison parade, Billy overheats. This year I was sure Mike was going to put a hole in his oil pan with his crankshaft interferance problem, but instead we loose a wheel on the Eleanor.
We have almost as bad a record with parades as we do meeting places.
