Hi folks,

As you may have noticed, the weather for Monday's parade is not looking the best. Yet, Huntsville does not cancel a parade for weather. I, for one, will still be there to show my support and honor our veterans no matter what the weather is like. I certainly hope that you feel the same way and will join me for a few hours.

This year's theme is "Courage, Sacrifice and Duty". Please remember that you are free to decorate your cars in any patriotic theme that you feel is appropriate.

The weather did stink that day - the crowd turnout was very light where I was standing. It was good to still see some familiar faces in the parade.
