No more waiting in a long line to get your Drivers license renewed, get a new license, get you fishing or hunting licenses or obtain your vehicle tags titles or title transfers. Madison County has opened up a license department satellite office on Redstone Arsenal. It is located right inside the commissary before you enter the PX. This is a new office for them, and they are watching to see if it has enough business to justify keeping it open, so please USE IT!!! Anyone that can get onto Redstone Arsenal can use this office. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 0830 to 1600

Only on Wednesday can you transfer your out of state drivers license or have your kids can take their written learners permit test.

It was in the Rocket about 2 or 3 months ago that it would be opening this summer. Now if this little town would just have more than 1 place you can take your driving test! You can't even retake your eye exam here except for the 1 location. Since I had Lasik I wanted to get the restriction off my license. But instead of making a special trip over there and wait in the long line, I'll just wait until the next time I have to renew my license.
