Shelby Drop
Would it be better to buy lowering coils for the front or use the shelby drop?

Lowering coils will more than likely be stiffer than what you have now - might make the car ride rougher over bumps, etc. Doing the Shelby drop should be very easy on your car since there is so much room to work with because of the 6 cylinder.

How long would you think it would take to do this? I am out of school for the summer after 11 tomorrow. And I was thinking I could try to do this on Tuesday.

I did the drop on my '67 in combination with springs. The Shelby drop doesn't actually lower your car, it just changes the geometry of the front suspension to give you better camber when turning. Since you have to remove the spring to make this change, it's a good time to replace them as well.
After doing the Shelby drop, springs, and sway bar, the car actually handled respectably well. In addition, my springs were in such sad shape the car had an inch difference in ride height on the two sides.

I don't like hydralics. Not meant for a mustang.
When can I get that template from you Rogue?

Over the summer, it would be a good idea to save up for some springs. I know your getting new shocks, and springs always go good with that. Also, just a thought, if my old springs are in better shape than yours, you're welcome to have them!

I'm not replacing springs. I won't have money. We are watching some rims on ebay for the stang. If I get them i have to save up and get tires for them.

Can someone that has had Falken tires if they are good? I might be getting some new rims next week and I am looking at Falken ZE-912 tires. I just want to know if they are good tire to have.

I will try to be there. Now I have to put the stang back together. I've been trying for over 2 hours to get 1 spring off. So I will put it back together and get ready to go to Sonic tonight.
