Sat July 12 GREATER TENN. VALLEY ANTIQUE CAR SHOW

This is one of my favorite shows.

GREATER TENN. VALLEY ANTIQUE CAR SHOW

This is the 21st. annual antique car show held at the Delphi Saginaw plants between Athens and Decatur Alabama on hwy 31 north. There will be free T-shirts and dash plaques for the first 500 to register. Registration fee is $25.00. The door prizes are two 350 Chevy crate engines, a set of chrome wheels, tools, TV's, DVD's, shop equipment, and much more. There is a Huge parts vendors area, also food vendors, and Lots of arts and crafts for the ladies. We average over 1000 antique cars. No cars or trucks newer than 1983 allowed.

I saw the All American Pinto, but missed the yellow shirt.

As usual lots of cars to see, but you were on the edge of heat exhaustion by the time you see them all. Apparently this will be the last year that the show will be at Saginaw since they are shutting down. Current rumor is that this show will move to Pt. Mallard, and will be held in the fall.

as soon as i got there my camera ran out of memory .. i went back to my car for another chip and stayed there in the shade watching them parade in .. i didnt get a single pic ... i hope they dont go to point mallard .. it takes all day now just to get into the spirit of america show .. parking is terrible and one lane traffic creeps along
