I did not mean to come off as a jerk Puter. But all i have heard since i started messin with mustangs is " coupes coupes coupes" everybody and there mother wants a coupe, So i figured i'd sell mine. Its not as bad as you make it out to be.

Sure, it aint pretty. It needs paint. But the body isnt completely trashed, just has GT ground effects which i personally dont like, but thats how it was when i bought it. The carpet that is in the car is not Mustang specific, looks like a previous owner just bought a roll of carpet from someplace and did there own. Thats one thing it needs, but you can get that from 5.0 Resto pretty cheaply. Fuse covers, I'm sure Gullats has plenty cars up there with fuse covers you could get reasonably. And as far as under the hood, it really just needs to be cleaned, its not like the wiring is a rats nest or something.

I'm not saying you dont know your Mustangs, i am just defending my car. But hey, if no one wants to make a REASONABLE offer, thats fine too. I dont mind having another toy, even though i dont need one. It wont take much to get her looking nice. Anyway, sorry if i came off as a jerk.

Quite alright. I can tell you are frustrated at the offers. I know what you mean by hearing all the folks asking for coupes. I had an 87 5.0/T5 coupe that was in perfect, unmolested shape that I bought off the first owner. And I mean unmolested - to the point that the only mod was a rear window decal. Even the air silencer was still intact.I found that car in 1998 and paid $5K for it.

Honestly, I have to tell you that a $2500 coupe is in better shape, though. I realize you have a lot of money in it. But if you have been working with cars as long as I have (almost 35 years), you know that you do not get anywhere near out of them as you have in them, except in rare cases.

If you do want to sell it, you should put a little work into it to make it look better. The price is too high for the condition. For example, see the URL below for what a person can get for asking $300 more.

Or what one can get for asking $500 more...

I found lots more with simple searches.
Whatever you do, I wish you luck on your decision.

Mike, do you still have the coupe? If so, what would you take for it?
