Rolex race at Barber
Patrick, Mike, and I talked about this at DQ Wednesday and I thought I would let everyone know what I’ve found so far. I don't know how many others have witnessed this event but last year we had a blast. <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

is truly a sight to behold if you've never been. For this race, Paddock passes are cheap and most of the teams allow you to walk up to the cars, look, and take pictures as long as you aren't getting in the way.
The date is July 20-22. Sunday the 22<SUP>nd</SUP> is the big Rolex race but if you want to walk the paddock I suggest you go Saturday also. There are some smaller races Sat. with practice and qualifying for Sunday’s race. Friday is practice only.<O</O
Patrick and Mike got club discount tickets last year thru Magic City Mustang Club but I just looked at their website and don't see any mention of the club discount this year.
I received the club discount thru Twickenham Auto Club so if <ST1<st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Magic</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">City</st1:PlaceType></ST1 doesn't pan out we could still go TAC route.

If you havent ever been to a road race, this is an amazing event. The grand am (KONI Challenge) cars are the best ones IMO as they are very competitive and its factory based cars ripping it up on one of the most beautiful tracks in the country. We help sponsor the #52 and #59 2005 Mustangs ran by Rehagen Racing. We will acctually be interviewing driver Dean Martin of the #59 RR mustang in our next podcast, on Stangcast.net. (Btw, Dean worked at SVT as a design engineer as well).
We will be at the track most of hte event in July so definitely come out and experience it all.
