What does the winner get? Are radar detectors allowed? What class would my 66 convertible be in? I don't want to be in Puter's class, cause I hear he oils down the track. Can I be in LMan's class, since his car won't be ready?

A rally is a non-speed competition. You will be given a set of route directions to follow. If you execute the instructions correctly you should arrive at the destination exactly on time. Each second you arrive early or late counts against you. Since this is a fun event, we may not actually keep track of times. Typically there are checkpoints along the way to measure everyone's progress and get synched back up again. The route instructions are like "Turn right at second opportunity. Turn left at stop" etc. without revealing the true destination.
This is about enjoying our cars, spending time together, seeing some back roads you may be unfamiliar with, solving the puzzle of the route, and the sense of adventure, as well as showing those corvettes a thing or to.

Well, heck Mberglo...
I would say that you can stay in front of me, but that would never happen.
Hey, I'm bringing a DVD player and showing Gladiator movies.
Wanna be my co-pilot?

Ya'll just stay clear of Team Kucera/Liston. I'll take pics while we pass you and, of course, as you finish......behind us.....lol
Ralph, I'll have my truck/trailer ready to come back and tow you home :-)
