Ralph, i remember at some point you had some ported E7's and i was wondering what were the specs for the port?

Also if anyone else has some ported e7's info on those would be nice too.

tmoss of the Corral has written up specs. But, mine are only partially ported. The thermactor bumps were removed. Folks say this is the largest restriction in the exhaust and it sure helped to free up some HP.

wear a respirator, unless you like spending hours breathing iron filings/dust. You'll be washing em out of your hair for a while, too

Asa, have you looked at any porting articles? Are you port-matching to the Fel-Pro 1250? How are you thinking of shaping the bowls or unshrouding the valves?

thanks for the tips Lman,

yes, i've been reading a site dedicated to porting Es and some D series heads. i've just started reading, them ( couple days ago), and haven't gotten to the bowl section yet. i will be port matching to the felpro 1250.
i need to get a valve spring compressor so i can take the heads apart now. or maybe borrow one from a parts store.
