Update: Hood is primed and almost ready for paint. The candy apple red I bought doesn't match... 
O well... Now I am being made to wait yet another day to put the hood on because we need a piece of metal...

Got part of the hood painted. Have to go buy more paint tomorrow.

You're almost there. Do a tribute to the vintage 1967 Ford Racing Mustangs in the Trans Am Series. The tops of the fenders go black, and a single stripe over the roof and trunk.
