Original 72 Pantera

Unrestored, less than 19K miles.

If someone was wondering what to get me for a late Christmas present, this would be kinda nice.

I generally love Panteras, but not like that one...the rear 3/4 view looks odd- wheels inset, 'jacked up' looking...the years with the flared fenders/wider wheels are beautiful... this one reminds me of the early countach- without flares/wheels, they just dont have the 'supercar look'.

Beautiful! Looks very similar to my "jacked up", unspoilered 15K mile original '72 .

The tires are a bit skinny, mine doesn't look that bad

My brother had one. If you want a lot of fun and even more attention, then get a Pantera. Just check it thoroughly for any rust problems. He let me keep it at my house for about a year, and it was a magnet for every envious other car owner out there (and guess what - yes, Vette owners were the worst). They would parade past my house day in and day out.

I'd always thought they changed fender flares a little in later years but no...just wheels- found a pic with different wheels side by side, quite a difference:

one of the prettiest cars of all time... the 'widebody' ones are pretty cool too. like with the late/great Ford GT(40) its a shame they dont still build these beautiful machines

Actually, it depends on the model. The GTS was a narrow body with fender flares built at the same time as the original narrow body cars. Here is a GTS:
