With interest rates so cheap, why make some else's payment? I'd look into buying my own - after taking the interest deduction off your taxes plus any appreciation, you usually come out ahead by buying versus renting.

 

Its definately a buyers market right now. If you have the money, buy.

Yeah your in a bad way. But trust me, I was a car salesman for awhile and 550 is better than what alot of people have. You would be surprised how many people would come into the store and be mad when they couldn't get approved for 0.0% financing on a F150 or Fusion or whatever because they're score is like 400.

 

Rogue, says you have a 67 coupe. Could you consider downsizing (ie selling) that or do other cost-saving things. Would make a nice payment toward renting/leasing/buying a new place. the technical name i use is a super coupe, since eleanor was a fastback! , car is not going anywhere.

i work 2 jobs to put my wife thru school and she is almost done , my car is the only thing i can piddle with that keeps me sane,

i figure another 16 months and the wife can get a job, then it is easy street!

 

Super coupe sounds good to me. That is what you should call it now. Not Mustang but Super Coupe.
