Nice '67 390 Fastback in Madison on eBay
#7
There is something to be said for leaving a car stock, or close to it. To be honest though, Elenor kits are really over done. Thats all anybody wants to do to a 67/68 fastback. How about coming up with something original? That car I would leave alone. The most I would do visually to a classic Mustang is a small drop and some 17" inch rims. But I may be biased, I tend to like mostly stock looking cars.

thats just stupid. the Elenor is the best looking old school ride out there. i wish i could afford a original one but theyre just way expensive. if this fastback was a Elenor it would be bringing $125000. Who's laughing now?

An excellent 390 Fastback should not be sacrificed for an Eleanor recreation. Besides, Eleanor prices are plummeting. One sold at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach this year for $80,000.

It's impossible to know the future values of Eleanors and it is beside the point. The real point is that a $33k car does not become a $125k car because of some slapped on plastic parts and rims. It is not the Eleanor look that determines value it is the build or restored quality. There are $30k Eleanors just as sure as there are $200k Eleanors. It is the rest of the car that matters, not the addition of a plastic front facia and side scoops. Anyway, who is laughing now...I lost track of whose turn it is?

That car was a 67 Fastback pretending to be a modded up GT500. Prior to that movie, if someone called a car an Eleanor they were talking about the 73 Mach 1 that was in the original movie.
