Hey all. New member and 2006 Saleen 281SC owner. Wanted to know if there are any other Saleen owners out there and if anyone has any recommendations on local shops to install new rear gears and dual fuel pumps..

Mike Liston is the president and owns a Saleen Extreme. I believe we have one or two others, but I am not at the roster at this moment. Now, did you mean that you joined the Forum, or the RCMC?

There are a lot of folks that do work. One gentleman that owns a shop and does excellent work is Andy Wittschen.

Our meeting is next Tuesday at 6:30 at the West End

 

Small correction. Some of us meet up early to have dinner and bench... er, table race. The meeting starts at 7 and usually runs an hour.

I'd love to come to the meeting...but I can't. Car is going in to the shop as well for some warranty paint work...

 

You have no other transportation? Several folks do not drive their Mustang to the meeting.

 

Its cool to bring your stang, but its not required

 

Just wanted to say that I called Andy today and he gave me a very reasonable price to install my 3.73's.. He indicated he would also install the pumps but I forgot to ask the price... Hopefully I can get the car to him over Christmas break...

Appreciate your help and I will try to make the meeting in January as well...

Sorry, no pics. Car is in the shop getting some clear coat issues addressed, after it is complete and I put the new 5-Spokes on it I will take some pics..
