Its time for the Wife to get a new car, got to let some of the toys go. Selling my 1985GT 5-speed Vert 144,xxx miles for $3800

Mostly original car with the exception of the 8.8 rear 373 gears, Edelbrock 600 carb, FMS SS shorty headers, true dual exhaust (pypes violator mufflers), the wheels and turbo hood with scoop. The car runs well, does not smoke.

The car is garage kept and only gets out on nice days in the summer (on weekends). The longest trip I have made in this car was about 410 miles one way and it performed nicely. I have owned the car since 2007 but just do not have the time to really use it so I hope to use the cash for more immediate needs.

Issues to take note of: The rear quarter windows do not roll up (the motors on both sides run and the windows wiggle) but they do not come up. Ralph has said a couple of years ago that the suspected that the cogs are worn.

The top works fine but does have a rough rub mark where one of the hinges contacts the top material when going up/down. The rear glass is zippered in but the stitching around one corner has come loose.

The 8.8 /373 rear does not roar but does have some slight vibration that can be felt in the shifter around 3k rpm.

If someone buys this, bring the motors over to my house and I'll show how to fix them. Easy, cheap fix.

Yea sent the guy the VIN today so he can research the car. Hopefully he'll get back to me tomorrow
