A message from Deb

Hey to all! Skip and I just got home from The Cancer Center, yes, another treatment, but another day to getting closer to getting well. This Chemo drug makes me feel totally different from the way I felt from the other treatment drugs I've taken, and I'm telling everyone that if what I'm feeling on the outside is any indication of what is going on on the inside, I'll be cured in no time at all. Side effects are different and my emotions are way off the chart. Poor Skip, just ask him, he can tell you about the emotions. He is amazing. Of course I already knew that, but having him through this is such a blessing. I've always said he is my gift from God. I just hate that he has to put up with me sometime.

The next chain of events will begin Sept 10 when I have my next CAT scan, then treatment 2 days later. The CAT scan will determine what that treatment will be. My doctor told me again today that he thinks I'm doing very well and he is pleased so far. He stated he is still surprised that I have no symptoms...........not one since the day I was diagnosed, October 10. We would still like to find a clinical study somewhere, but with this crazy insurance of mine, I must stay in the state of Alabama for my insurance to pay. Clinical studies usually have a "no fee" to the patient, it's just finding the right one at the right time.

Once again I ask for your prayers. I pray every night that God will heal my body and take this disease away. I ask that you say the same prayer. With God's Will, I am going to be fine.

Until next time, have nice thoughts for me, Skip and my family, and tell your family and friends how much you love them each and every day!

Love, light and laughter,
Deb
