I'd take it, pull all of the interior and drivetrain out, sell it, and redo the car right.

New wheels, new interior, new engine, T5 5 speed, new paint, correct striping, new suspension.

i think you`re overly excited by the term "mach one " .. mach one was just a trim package .. could be had with a 302 two barrell slipomatic .. over a hundred thousand 69 stangs built .. cutting up a few wont hurt the value of them .. i made mine what i wanted ..

BA, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'd take that car in a heartbeat and have a blast taking it to shows and just driving it. If you can afford to build a car like that than you can afford the gas.

Yeah I know. My main thing is the Boss stripes(replace with Mach 1), and the massive blower. Take those things off and I would be more ok with it. I would love to have a set of wheels like that for my coupe. Not that wide of course, I wouldn't want to tub the rear.

Actually in '69 the base engine was 351W 2 barrel. No 302 Machs until 1971.

I like it. It's part of the Mustang history. The Mustang is the most modified car in the World, and building prostreet drag cars was quite common 20-30 years ago.

I have a friend with a 65 Shelby GT350 that was tubbed and had a blower on it at one time. It has since been restored to original condition, but it has plenty of history.
