Life is Hard @ its Best

My grandfather tells me this everytime i see him, and i am starting to understand what it means, but its a very hard lesson.

I just talked to my wife who got the results of the blood work and MRI's back from the doctor, and it wasnt what i expected as a matter of fact i didnt know what to say or do. We found out the she has Hip Dysplasia commonly found in 70 yr old women, its kinda like osteoperosis except it the deteriation of the muscles due to extensive wear from the bones that are not formed right. We were told that she has to have hip replacement by the time she is 25 (that would be best) or the more long term is by 30 (at latest). if she hasnt had the surgery by then she could doc says 85% chance she will be wheelchair bound for the rest of her life. Well when life hits it hits hard. It mind boggling that something like this can happen to a 21 yr old. Granted its not cancer or anything that serious, but still a major blow to us being such a young married couple.

I would greatly appreciate everyone's prayers for her, we knew it was bad , but we didnt know how bad until just recently.

You definitely have our thoughts and prayers, especially her. It must be very scary knowing the decisions that she must make. It is amazing how people of 70 years old can have hip replacement surgery and be up and around in weeks. The blessing that you have is that she is young and will heal much more easily than one of 70.

Life is a series of tests. But we don't get to study until after we have taken them.

Hang in there, you will get thru this as we all encounter things we would rather drive around, however just take it one step at a time.
