Lane Museum Cruise
I have scheduled a cruise to Lane Museum in Nashville, TN on Saturday, January 8, 2011. If course, if the roads are bad, the cruise will be canceled. The museum is open from 10 am - 5 pm. The admission for an adult is $7. A group rate is offered at $6 each for 15 or more people. Check out the website: http://lanemotormuseum.org/ for more info. Does anyone have any other suggestions while we are in Nashville? I thought we could eat somewhere after the museum. There is also the Opryland Hotel if anyone is interested in visiting. Unfortunately, the Christmas display is taken down on January 2.

We will meet on Saturday, January 8, at Gander Mountain parking lot
8:00 am. It is located on North Memorial parkway at the intersection
Of mastin Lake. If there is anyone who prefers to meet at I-65, I plan
To be at the Fayetteville exit off I-65 around 9 am. After we meet at Gander
Mountain, we will head up to Fayetteville and take 64 to I-65. Please
Let me know if you plan to go so I will have an idea on who to wait on.
Anyone and everyone is invited to attend. I hope to see you guys there!

It has been brought to my attention that the Frosty Wheel car show will also be going on in Franklin, TN during our trip to Lane Motor Museum. I plan on stopping on my way back home and checking it out. Admission is $9 to the car show.

There is a restaurant called Rafferty's that looks good. Here is the physical address: 100 Oaks, TN - 4041 Armory Oaks Drive - Nashville, TN 37204. Check out the menu on their homepage and let me know what you think.

Thanks, Hoss! I learned a very valuable lesson during this trip. Always have a back-up plan just in case. We chose to take the safer route yesterday. We turned around in Nashville due to wet roads, snow, and 25 degree temp. Come to find out, it would have been just fine for us to have gone on to the museum. I want to thank those who showed up for the cruise. A few of us stopped at the Frosty Wheels car show (back-up plan) in Franklin. I will post pics soon.
