Enjoyed the trip up to Jack Daniels today. We had maybe half of who said they were coming show up. Rain was on and off and so was the sunshine.

We had 2 leave early, but last we heard they were doing good. Also about half way up I thought I had lost 4th gear. Ended up being my bump stop on the shifter was somehow moved during the cruise and caused me to not be able to engage 4th and cause grinding. Got that fixed quick and went on our way.

Despite the on and off rain my wife and I had a good time. We enjoyed meeting you guys and hope to see everyone again in the near furture. You guys who didn't make it... you missed a good time. BTW... Nice pictures Jake!

 

This was right before I thought 4th was out. I pulled into the parking lot where that white rectangular building is in the picture. I was the last car in the group too, only 8 cars.

 

Nice pics Jake, was also relived to hear that Sam's wife, Deb, was doing ok. Glad I took off from work, had a good time despite the weather.

Thanks, I need to save up and buy a Nikon D3000 SLR. My parent's camera does the job, but I would love to have a really good camera.

 

Sounded like a pretty fun day, considering the rain.

 

I got to Shoney's right at 9:30 at you guys had already headed out. Sorry I missed it. I started to try and catch up but with the rain it just wasn't worth the risk.

 

You must have just missed us then. We might have been in the turn lanes, because we left maybe 2-3 minutes before 9:30.

i had fun, it was a nice cruise back, i had to get back ealy so i didnt get to eat lunch there,

i am happy i got a bottle of single barrel while i was up there.

glad to see no one had any issues on the way back and glad to hear Sam and Deb are doing ok
