Hey guys one my friends brothers has a good set of gt40 p heads for sale that came of his 5.0 fox body. Will these heads bolt on to a 351w?

 

Yes, but you may have to drill the head bolt holes for 1/2" head bolts as I think they are for 7/16" .

 

"Back in the day", folks would put 351W heads on 289/302. Pretty decent heads. Might just leave well enough alone.

O....K....I was under the impression that gt40p heads were after market performance heads. Am i wrong? Are they garbage?
Please inform me because i know little about Fords i've always been a Chevy man but i like the early 'stangs so i bought one and im still learning.

 

They come standard on V8 Explorers. Thought to be the best iron head for the 302, but require special headers to clear the oddly positioned spark plugs.

My only point is that sometimes the aggravation of modification isn't worth it.
