Good snow for N. Alabama

Got ourselves a good snowfall this morning. Great for making snowballs, now all I need is someone to have a snowball fight with. Guess work gave me the right day to have the afternoon off. I still have to work tonight though. It's 9:40 in the morning, I have over an inch of snow and it's still snowing.

Your dog looks mighty upset...lol Do you normally get snow in N. Alabama? Not sure, never been there. I know the southern US has been hit with unusually cool weather this year.

We usually get a little each year. Not very much. This year has been different. Yes, he doesn't look too happy but he was tired from running around in the snow.

We got about 2" in south central Tennessee. I'm about 50 miles north of Redbaron. My son is 18 and built his 1st snowman today. That stuff rolled up like turf and hurt if you got hit by a snowball. This is the 5th snowday my wife has had this season, school teacher. If the buses can't get to all the kids in the county they won't have school. Check out the pics. Here's me and my wife, me and son, and one of my barns. This all happening due to global warming. It's Al Gores fault! He invented the internet and people are on their computers all the time generating heat and using excess electricity...kennyg

The snow fall we have gotten in Alabama this year is just wonderful. Of course later this week its going to be 70 degrees. Gotta love the south!
