Nice! It's a twin to one in the RCMC VP's garage.

Thanks. I saw the VP's car on the club's homepage and they do look like twins. This is also a July 64 build that was built during the transition to 65. It has an unimproved hood, the driver side headlight bezel is beveled but the passenger side is unbeveled. Also, the passenger seat is adjustable like a 65.

Your car is so late in 64 1/2 production, July 28, that they could have run out of the beveled headlight buckets for that side and that the passenger seat tracks were adjustable by then. But unless you know the car since delivery, there's also the possibility that those items have been changed. I restored an early Stang that had the star washer fender bolts on one side and the updated variety on the other. From what I could tell it had never been apart, so I put it back that way. Several people questioned it, but I figured one side of the line ran out of the old bolts before the other.
