engine - free to any home, good or not

I have a 1972 Yamaha 2-stroke snowmobile engine...output is ~ 25-30 HP or some such. Got it for a killer go-kart project years ago that never left the drawing board.

Comes with centifugal clutch installed, muffler, and I think I can find the oil injection tank it came with. Motor turns freely, but needs a coil, otherwise should run fine.

Id be happy to give it to the first caller on our show today. Just want it out of the way.

Horizontal or vertical shaft? Horizontal would be way cool. Got a go-kart it can go in.

Oh, its horizontal. Bolt it on, align some pulleys, and scare the hell outta yourself . I may even have the toothed belts for the clutch as well.

I was going to see what would happen when a go-kart made for a 5 hp Briggs got a 30 hp Yamaha instead, but never got the round tuits.

Hehehe...
The engine that blew on this one was a 6hp Tecumseh.
Hmmmm... Need to get Todd to bring out his truck to pick up firewood at Donna's. I can get those other parts at the same time, too. Right now I am in travelhell trying to get to New York City.
