Engine

Ok so i am trying to decide what i am going to do with the money i have saved up and the money i am going to get from Christmas. I have been thinking about getting a R-Model Front Valance. Yet i just remembered there is a place in nashville that sells car parts. They want $120 for a V6, $131 for a V8, and then $43 for a 5 speed manual. I was wanting to know how much it would cost to get this engine wired into my car(if anyone would happen to know). It would be a carbed engine.

TRANSMISSION 5 SPEED MANUAL $43.74

yep everything done right and you doing all the work should go for about 2500-3000. if you got to a shop it will be at least double that...im still lacking a 9" rear and brakes is all that i have left.

Is that how much money i will put in the car? Or how much it would sell for.

Plus all im doing is putting a V6 in. No axle or steering changes.

Why go up to a 9" when you could get an 8.8 for cheaper and it can handle what you want to throw at it......Plus if it's from a 94+ you will have disk brakes to boot.

Heck, even the 7.5 has shown to be a pretty strong rear end....mine is surviving behind a 300+ Motor, and they can be gotten for CHEAP. The only poor part is the lack of a LS diff.

that would be an interesting swap. yeah, i spent 2k on my swap and didnt get a rear, got all the rest of the stuff, just havent put it on. ... yeah a 7.5 will be fine for anything 350 and less. but an 8.8 would do even better... i can call a friend and he'll custom make one for you if ou want, not sure on the prices yet.
