You're right, Hoss, I think the '70 Roadrunner is one of the best looking musclecars. One that I'd buy when I win the Powerball Lottery...

Cmon mgreene, work with me, Fiat. LOL. I've never met Dan but I do know he is a fellow RCMCer, have seen his name and list of Fords on a club roster. I almost printed out a membership form this morning to send in my '08 dues! Mine will become a family membership on October 4! kennyg

I actually went to Dan's garage last year. At the time he had 18(!) cars in it including the Crown Vic, Pantera, a '62 406 Tri-powered Galaxie, and some 10-12 Boyd Coddington style restored street rods. Also lots of neat Ford automobilia, parts, etc. Could have spent hours in there just to see everything.

Saw one of those no nonsense rat rods this morning at the 4 way in Vanntown. About a 46/48 2 door sedan body in rust, real low, no fenders or side glass, SBC. He got on it hard and was all over the road. Nice cool morning, the sound of open headers, the smell of exhaust...What a great country we live in! kennyg

On the way to National Guard duty (boy I love hurricanes) I saw the same rod turn onto 231 from the road that goes to Lincoln and Vanntown. (where were you going that early?)
I thought it was strange that the body was totally rust - no repair, primer, etc. - but the car still looked pretty good.

That is odd for me to me moving around that early, but I'm becoming a Flintvillian. Getting married next Saturday, October 4, at the Flintville First Baptist Church. I will be making Flintville my home.

That's the way 'they' do the ratrods, functionality on a budget. Take what you got in the garage, barn, out in the field, can scrounge up for little or nothing,..., and make a driver. The one HOSS showed is a little more refined than most! I've got an idea for a 'muscleratrod' and a 'mustangratrod'. More on them later. kennyg

There is a 32 Roadster that shows up to DQ meets every so often. Talked to him, he has a built 302 with 2 4bbls on it. Told us it shreaded an aluminum driveshaft he put on it. The rear tires on it were huge.

i`ve bean looking at ebay for another 69 to tinker with .. perhaps one in a bit better condition than mine when i found it ..... there aint one in better condition than mine for less than 10 zillion $ .. people want crazy money for junk .. here`s mine when i first started hanging the 429 in it .. beside it is the satanic 64 falcon that ate 3 windsors in less than a month .. my stang has been acting up lately .. crapping out at part throttle .. kinda like stuck points of old days ... found a cracked magnetic pick up .. good to go again ..though a bit noisey in the valve train area .. stupid non adjustable rockers ..
