cha ching !!

i`ve tried recently to buy collector car insurance from that company that specialises in it .. we shall call them "" haggle you "" insurance comp.. they shot me a super cheap quote to get me on the line then as we went farther into descriptions of my stuff it was constant " oh !! you got custom paint "" ( cha ching ) went the cash register in the back ground .. "oh !! you got non stock engines !! ( cha ching ) oh!! we see you opted for the minimum replacement value for your cars .. we think they`re worth XXXX bucks .. ( cha ching ) ... send us a thousand pics inside outside under the as well as shots of you cars parked in storage as we will raise the premiums even more if they are ever taken out of the garage... needless to say i hung up on them ...thats the problem i have now .. i`m paying for coverage in this stupid state for my cars to sit 98% of the time .. why cant the DRIVER be covered no matter what he`s in .. i`m covered if i borrow your car but cant be covered in my own without 7 seperate policies ( i dont know what that misterious orb is above my stang but it follows me everwhere

Judging by the marks you left on the street I'd say you have too much air in your passenger tire.

it ate 9 of my goats !!

this aint the first time iv`e ran across hogzilla.. this is a wild beast someone has set free down at hump creek ..i know there is a local fellow tendering to wild critters and that`s supposed to be kinda against the law iv`e heard .. he has set out wild turkey and feeds deer on a regular basis .. he may very well have greatly contributed to the influx of coyetes and foxes that are eating up all the small pets in the area.. this pig scared the crap out of me a few weeks ago when i hiked up on it standing by the side of the road .. i quickly did an about face not knowing if the thing would come after me .. today i was on my bike and could out pedal it if need be .. it saw me and came rite at me till i raised my camera .. must be camera shy

so i guess MSD boxes do get weak with age .. iv`e been battling a part throttle cruise miss in my stang all summer long ,, changed everything in the distributor .. changed coils .. wires .. carbs .. finally reverted back to an old points type distributor so as to bypass the MSD and the miss has gone ... revs a little less due to top end breakup but screams just the same .. by the way .. how does one diagnose a wristpin knock or piston pin rattle .. iv`e got a peck in my new 351 and it aint no lifter .. .. dang it man .. kick myself some more for not buying that 393 stroker kit ..but there`s plenty more .. just that one was already balanced for the 28 ounce flywheel .. `im looking at getting some kind of new ( brand new ) vehicle .. most likely a truck .. and it most likely wont be a ford .. price will be the determining factor more than brand .. and it will give me a chance to dump that moneypit dodge i have

Don't give up your hard earned cash, nor should you get it on credit, for a new vehicle. I do like the '09 Challenger for $29,995, but some good deals are out there on restored/fixed up classics. kennyg

Yes I do! Invest in your current investments. If you spend $15-$20K on the vehicles that you currently own, what condition could you bring them up to? (And you don't have to spend it all at once.) You're not in an immediate vehicle crisis that leads alot of our fellow Americans into car payments they can't afford and an instantly depriciating asset? kennyg

the puckerless persimmon .
some of you may be familiar with that three stooges episode .. when i wore a childs clothes and money was`nt so readily available we kids ate things we found in the woods .. not a lot of persimmons nor appricots but we did try them from time to time cause they had a decent taste and good smell .. i dont know if a person could actually make a persimmon pie .. we did crack wild hickory nuts and every wallnut or pecan we could find .. and ate muskeydymes and anything else we could run down and catch with bare hands ..

project dodge

this is the dodge truck i`m sinking tons of money into .. it`s a solid vehicle . has a wheel shake that bugs me and the tire store cant make it stop..pings and cranks hard but i`m gunna get that looked at ..i hate that it`s a long bed .. so off comes the bed and out comes the hotwrench and it will soon be a short bed ..3/4 ton springs will have to go .. rides way too stiff for me . iv`e already purchased a bed .. in the picture one cant hardly tell but except for the roof and hood there aint a strait body panel on the thing ..i hate a beat up ride .. new paint will follow soon after the bed shortening .. i`m thinking a dukes of hazzard theme

i think someone should be able to succesfully sue underwriters laboratory for allowing unsafe products in the american market .. even if the stupid space heater did say " dont locate close to flamable objects " .. unsafe is unsafe .. i know the crap that wallmart sells is mostly made in china and is CRAP .. a pair of shoes dont last 90 days .. an electric blanket might last a month .. i had to buy 3 clocks to get one with a working alarm and it still gains 15 minutes every week .. please ..someone make some products in america again .. let me know where they are and i will buy them .. i dont know if i posted this earlier this year or not but i tried for 6 months to buy this house from my ex wife .. i finally gave up after some deed issues keep the deal from going thru .. my son moved in about 2 weeks ago .. i heard the sireens all thru the nite but of coarse had no clue the consequences .. my son barely got out alive .. had a friend not been there and been awake and smelled smoke ...

HOSS, Glad your son got out of the house in time. Did he have a smoke/CO detector? I picked one up just the other day at the county shed compliments of Homeland Security while I was getting a flu shot. I installed a combo unit with CO detector a couple of years ago, the last time I used K-1. It went off within 15 minutes because of CO. I moved the heater outside and opened all the windows and doors, took 2 hours for the detector to reset to all clear. Everyone should have at least one in their house and in the garage. Why aren't there CO detectors in cars? kennyg

one of the easiest things iv`e ever done.. 8 bolts , three screws , 2 plugs and a tree limb and off comes the bed .. just got to go trade it for the short bed now .. and whittle on my frame a bit .. took all the side molding off the cab and fenders .. emblems with disappear..if things go well monday i will have the short bed installed and get a view of how things will look .. i`m thinking hard about dropping the 429 in my black truck if the dodge experiment goes well ... gas is getting so cheap now a 5 MPG pickup hot rod may be do-able ..
