Folks, I got an email from the coordinator mentioning that the Vets w/Vettes is bringing about 30 vehicles. I was asked about how many we were bringing. It was also mentioned that the show vehicles can start getting there as early as 0830.

So, a show of hands... How many of you are planning on making it? Weather is showing partly cloudy with a 10% chance of rain, high ~89.

Is there some thought as to meeting someplace as a club and all going there as one group? Who will be bringing the antenna flags?

Other than our own (May) show and last year's Boys Ranch show, did we ever attend a show as a group? Just asking....

I realize Valley Vettes are apparently going as a group, and I've been to other shows where clubs show up together. We've known (and posted info) about the BJHS show, but I can't recall where going as a club was considered....but I've been known to be wrong

Regardless, I think it sounds like a good show and I'll go as a spectator, take pics, etc. This was one of a billion issues on the agenda for tonights RCMC meeting......TONIGHT, Tuesday, 18 Sept, 7pm, West End Grill, Be there!

 

I was going to go but i have something to do. I really want to go.

I was thinking about going and setting as a vendor to try to sell some these diecast but it doesn't state on thier flyer whether or not they have vendor spaces. Called the number and left a message for them to call me. Have to work Friday night until close so I don't know how early I could make it anyway.

Well, I heard back from Karen Reynolds last night. Said they didn't really have a vendor area but I was welcome to set up for a $20 fee. If I can make it to meet up with you guys I will only problem is I'll be in Deb's Sport Trac.

 

Hey the flyer doesnt say when registration ends. I was wondering if anyone knew. I have something to do that morning and i was hoping that if it doesnt take too long that i may be able to make it. But i dont know when registration ends.

 

It's a 4 hr. show. I would think that if you were there before 12 you could still register. Call the number on the flyer, her name is Karen Reynolds.

 

Ralph/all, it looks like there is fairly good interest in going as a club. So to try and capture the details, get clarification, etc:
1. At the Tues. club mtg, I heard everyone was to meet at Lowes in Madison at ? time.
2. I will get the flags, etc. from the trailer and meet you at Lowes.
3. RCMC will follow-the-leader to the show.
Is that about right?

 

#1) First thought was Lowe's, but I think it better to meet at Kroger parking lot at 8:45. Caravan will leave at 9. Kroger is at Old Madison Pike and Hughes. Let's meet at the north end. This is what I put in an email that I sent out to the club Tuesday night when I got home from the meeting.

Mike, I will depend upon you for #2.

#3) I figure we do as we have in other events - leave there with oldest car first.
