Any interest in a one owner, never wrecked '87 GT needing minor assembly?

Through a death, I may be acquiring a one owner 1987 Mustang GT convertible. The car has never been wrecked. It has a new white (with a little pearl) paint job done right (i.e., all trim removed, not masked off). Has a new grey convertible top, 5 speed, original turbine wheels, new white leather interior (front and rear seats). 108,000 miles. Car has not been driven since its paint job, so there are NO rock chips, etc. in it.

What it needs:

Owner had started to convert blue interior trim to grey. Has all the grey trim, just not installed yet. Transmission - currently out and disassembled - not sure if it had synchro problems or what. Probably needs a rebuild kit (ask Ralph about difficulty).

Really nice looking car. If anyone is interested in it for around $3500 let me know. Should be getting to my house this weekend.

Gary Dempsey was asking me about a Fox, but he said no convertible.

I may want a look.

Well, I'm not going to get it home, but I can put anyone interested in it in touch with the owners. And the price may be closer to $2500. Email me if interested.
