another new guy

I bought a 73 mach 1 several months ago. Finished the first round of projects and it's running great. It'll be nice to start being active in the Huntsville club and get to meet other mustang people.

I'm loving the brakes on this one. Wondering about the suspension.

Welcome!

Thanks guys. I like parking deck pictures because they always make a car look really nice

There's air bags in the back and the front is lowered a hair courtesy of the previous owners. The car had stock mags on it when I got it. I sold them, bought the FR500s. It took a bit of massaging to get them to work.

The rear had drums, and the fronts were in rough shape. So I went ahead and replaced all 4 corners to be safe. To get the car daily driveable I also put a MSD ignition on it. Unfortunately the previous owners put dumps with cherry bombs on so it's a bit obnoxious on the tone.

The engine is basically stock with a 71 M-code engine. The rings are shot so I'm looking at rebuilding the engine soon.

Thanks again

I'm not sure, they all look the same to me. If the car had a big cam or higher compression it'd sound better; but right now it's loud just to be loud and drones pretty bad.

But I did find a good deal on a cam a couple days ago Cam, lifter, springs, pushrods, conversion kit for 7/16" rocker arms, 400$ shipped Pretty healthy cam too, 240/246 with ~.580 lift on 110.

Its probably not a glasspack then. It is different. Sounds like a good deal.
