I hear they are an internal combustion type engine.

Any specific questions or areas of interest?

They have spark plugs too?

Seriously, They are Modular motors, I hope you arent' thinking about stuffing one of those in your classic mustang. A DOHC motor is W I D E. Much more volume (externally) than a 5.0. I'm sure it's been done, but I don't think it could happen without cutting some parts on the car.

no no no i would never violate a beautiful thing like the 67 by doing that, i was had an idea come to mind inspired by the viper.....so there might be a very very origional car running around her within a year or so.

i got all the brochure number from them, but how do they respond to CAI, ported intake ported heads, headers, forced induction...that kinda thing, i know a little about the 5.0's 5.8's 4.7's, but i know less than **** about modular.

well, i was looking at putting a triton v10 into an SN95, and i went and drove a v10 truck ( i know its not in a car) and i wasn't impressed, so instead i've decided to build a stroker BB SN95 466 or 477. I will be using the craft build as a guide.but here is the timeline for it.

Stage 1 (3-6 months)
buy a 94-98 gt/ sixxer- doesnt matter if it runs ( no more than $1k)
pull out the old engine and sell ( $500 for the Motor gt,$ 250 for the sixxer)
pull the tranny ( auto= $400 manual = $550)
pull the rear end ( replace witha built 8.8)
pull all the wiring for fuel injection out

Stage 2 (6-9 months)
buy a 429/460 out of the junk yard w/ c6 ($500)
buy the tubular k member ( $250)
buy conversion kit from summit/ jegs ($900)
buy holley 870 CFM ( $400)
buy upgraded fuel system ( i have no idea i need help on this.)
buy big cam (i need help here too guessing $300)
aluminum heads (used i found a set on ebay for $800)

Stage 3 (1 month)
Installation time shouldnt take more than a couple weeks on and off.

If you get a 94/95 that came with the 5.0. Personally I would look to keep the fuel injection. You cannot beat the efficiency of injection vs carb: better MPG, HP, etc.

The 94/95 computers are a bit finicky and a few owners with wild cams have gone to the 93 computer that is a bit easier to work with.

Don't be afraid of Fuel injection.....

looking at the prices....i think im gonna stay away from EFI for now, this build is going to be a 9month- 10month project so if i can afford it ill think about it once i get to the engine part of the build.
