45 th aniv registration info straight from the horses mouth

per my email back from m.c.a.

link to registration for those who are computer challenged! !

https://secure.icglink.com/mustangev...gistration.cfm

my email to mca

i wanted to go there to basically show my car not really be judged is that this

Participant Award Display
Includes 2 weekend passes - $35

GTPony94@aol.com

You are correct. The display participant does just that. You display your car in the park and participate in the celebration activities over the weekend at the park. No judging and you still get an award for being a part of the event. Manufacture midway, vendors, meet and make new friends. Plus two Mustang Ford Challenge Races, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
*************************
so i am going to register Friday,

to those going down i think we should caravan down! i am hoping to take the truck and trailer my mustang so i can carry anything you need

and if anyone wants discounted passes, i can order up to 4 more weekend passes for 15.00 each would gladly add them to my order for same cost

FYI: keep a watch on the main southeast forum for events and stuff we are TMS are putting together for this weekend. Also were trying to get a large enough showing up to have an entire section dedicated to us so the more the merrier.

As mentioned in the RCMC meetings, if you wish to volunteer at least 3 hours - you get in free (that day) and a shirt. Members can e-mail Gary D. or me and I'll get the name/date to Gary.

Still have to be an MCA member to participate?

If so, I'll skip.

Yep. That is why I'm not registering either. Not paying 75 dollars for a show when I could enter 4 other shows for almost that price.

remember 75.00 you get a spot for your car, 2 weekend passes, a year membership for mca, and an award for being a part of the event

to me that is well worth the 75.00 especially since this only happens every 5 years or so!

I have a group I'm going with. I may actually register, just depends on when they stop. I'm selling something that could get me the MCA membership taken care of.

No one seems to be interested in the carb. I'm hopefully selling the turn signal assemblies.

? I thought that since the RCMC is a charter of the MCA, every member of the RCMC had to be an MCA member as well. Or has this changed? I need to pay my dues. kennyg

And start coming back to the meetings. HAHAHA I think you're right about the membership, I just think they don't stress it that much.

I do need to come to some of the meetings, last time I was there was around June. Met a wonderful woman August '07 and got married October 4 this year and became an instant father of a great 16 year old son! Am working on some of my old Fords and look forward to driving them to the meetings and other events in '09. Been busy with life after committing to the shop for so many years, 23 years at shop in Hazel Green and still going. In the last week I've gone to a high school drama production, 4 days of revival, Christmas program practice, worked the gate a elementary school basketball game, and tonight I'm staying home, tomorrow my sister receives her masters degree, then try to finalize some work at the shop so I can take off the last 10 days of the year to spend time with my wife and family! So I'll try to send in my dues to both Mustang organizations soon and try to participate in the coming year. Whether I've paid my dues or not, I still feel like an RCMC'r and consider others the same way. I was there in the beginning in 1980 at Bonanza on University. kennyg
