Why not have a show at the dragstrip every once in a while? That would give folks (the ones who aren't afraid of a little competition) the chance to race. The mopar guys do it and their turnout is usually a little better.

I believe what Mark is trying to say, is that a show is manhours intensive.....Lots of work (from what I've seen, never done it myself)

Just because some random poster, which happens to you at the moment, wants to do a "different" show, doesn't mean somebody else wants to do the legwork.......(run-on sentence, I know, I know)

If it's something YOU want, stretch out those calf muscles and get to running it down.......sort of look at it like a field of dreams moment...."build it, and they will come".

I hope that you don't take offense to the post, it's not meant to be rude to you. I'm sure if you organize it well, people will come.

The registration is open to anyone, membership is not needed for the May 12 show.

I emailed the info for the show to Arsenal personnel today, perhaps we may have some more people swing by, or even register.

As a clarification, club members have a single class for their cars. Their cars are not allowed in the general show classes.

Holly, I hope your mother is doing better.

Holly,
All memberships renew in January no matter when a new member joined.

ARTICLE IX – DUES
Membership dues shall be as fixed by the Ways and Means committee with approval by the vote of the members. Currently, dues are $12.00 per year. New members dues will be pro-rated for the first year of membership and will be assessed at the rate of $1.00 per month for the remainder of the year. Thereafter, dues will be assessed at the rate of $12.00 per year, payable in full prior to 31 January. Past members who rejoin the Club after an absence of at least two years will be considered new members for dues purposes.

The class is "RCMC Club Cars (1900-2007)".
