I was reminded today that advertising should already be in for this to the MCA and other places.

The magazines need a 3 month lead, so if you want it in the magazines several months before the show the info should have been sent out back in October to give people plenty of time to make plans and to make sure no other clubs around here schedule during our weekend like last year and years past.

Done. I'm handling a lot of the nit-picky things so we can focus on the bigger things. I'll send out a call-for-support soon and list areas we need people to sign up for (judging, set-up, registration, advertising/promotion, etc.)

It's way to early for this, but I think our best marketing is mailing a registration form to our past guests. Make sure you have the spreadsheet from the show and find a way to turn the registration page into mailing labels.

Envelope stuffing is a great club activity at a March meeting.

'nother issue. Since we are still far enough out for this decision to be made, do we want to go with the 'license plate' trophy this time?

If you recall, we decided on this change last year but decided too late for the vendor to respond.....

Mike,

Let me know when you start looking for sponsorship. I might be able to help. At a bare minimum I can get you all sorts of goodie bag stuff. Just shoot me a PM.

Lee (and all fyi)
Show details are moving along....a little slow right now, but still moving! On my own, I've contacted several potential sponsors for the show as well as for the club for all of 08. I've got some good feedback....and some have not responded. I'll shoot you an msg next week. Goodie bag stuff is great, too!

I've had several inquiries about the show regarding "do I have to be a club member" and "do I have to be an MCA member".......NO. All Ford-powered and Mustangs (of course) are welcome. No RCMC or MCA membership required.

Well, Greg (and Ken), I was actually wondering if you fell off the earth
Haven't heard or seen ya'll since the Christmas party/dinner. Don't worry, I've put together quite a nice "bill" for you for RCMC

We are still in the same place that we have been in since August 1985. 22 years and 8 months. Same phone number too. We've spent about $408,000 keeping the doors open !
(That may be a low estimate)
