2010 VV/RCMC Rally Pics
The turnout this year was good. There were several folks that had not done this before. Vic led us back in time with a route that was taken in 2007.
It was the perfect day! You could not ask for anything better. After a little get together at the Sonic in Ardmore, we were on our way to enjoying some very fun country roads as well as Fall colors along the ride. We made a small stop at the Blanche Groceries and Deli where we mingled some more and waves at other folks taking in a beautiful drive.
There was a bit of nastiness along the way as several of ran upon a trail ride that happened to take it on the road. Needless to say, it was a little difficult to dodge the exhaust from the horses.
Scrabble was the name of the game this year. Once all the miles were clocked, the gang rallied at Southern Country Fixins on Highway 53. I am hoping that someone will reply and let us know the winner with the word and the points.
This year I made sure I brought several oil pump driveshafts and was willing to sell them to anyone at $5 a pop.
Many thanks to Vic and his wife as well as Bill and his wife for running the checkpoints!

This is one of the most fun events every year. It's so hard to keep up with everything going on, and end up missing stuff.
