2005+ rims different?
Looking at a brand new take-off set with a 5-lug conversion in mind. Have an old conversion kit that has the Lincoln rotors for front. But everything I read mentions that the rotors are not good for some OEM rims. From MJ Bobbitt's page (http://home.comcast.net/~mjbobbitt/mustang/page6.html):
"**Important note here! The SVO/Lincoln front rotors will NOT work with the Ford '98 & '99+ Cobra, Y2K Cobra R wheels, and '97+ GT 17" wheels. Most of the wheels will mount up ('98 cobra and the Bullitt wheels will not), but you will not be able to mount the center cap due to the larger dust cap on the rotor. To run these wheels, you need to convert over to the SN95 front brakes (this includes spindles, rotors, hubs and calipers). Alternatively you can use a wheel spacer, but it is not recommended. The Lincoln/SVO rotors will work for the' 95 Cobra R wheel, 16" SN95 Pony wheel, and '99+ 15" & 16" wheel since they have a different center design and cap. If the center of the wheel is recessed, the Lincoln/SVO dust rotor will most likely be too large for the center cap of the wheel."
So, my actual question is...
Will the Lincoln rotors fit the rims shown in the link below?

Thanks.

Puter,
I have a set of 96-04 GT Spindles, Rotors, Brakes, Calipers in great shape if you're interested. The only thing that might be different on the 05+ rims is the offset. They are a nightmare to put them on Fox cars. You'd need a 1.5 - 2" spacer, I think. Since you'd have to use a spacer, the center cap thing might not be an issue. I'm putting SN-95 FR500 Rims on my GT right now. In the middle of a 2 year project/conversion....too many projects.

Kris, I'm gonna think that one over. I have so many ways to go with it. I passed up the deal for now. I always liked those take-offs. Darn good deal. I have not swapped over to 5-lug rear disc even though I have the stuff in the garage to do it. Gonna research more and find out exactly what I want to do.
My projects are all in my head right now. Just seeing which one falls out first. :-)
