Pursuit history would be documented by tracing the history.....if it was a marked in service Highway patrol car then it has in service history that is easy to document since all fully marked cars saw duty. Other cars that never made it to use would not have the same kind of history. Unmarked cars are harder to prove.

The sad thing is that most records have been long disposed of by the agencies and most of the cars you see out there now are 90-up because the older ones were sold off before the internet and following got big and they became peoples race cars or were used up and scrapped. It's much harder to find the earlier cars than the 90-93 cars.

There is a guy over at Foureyedpride that owns one. They chased the U2 spyplanes because it was hard or the pilots to see the runway over the nose of the plane. They would run along the side of the plane and advise them at how close they were to the tarmac. I will see if I can find the link.
